Special Classes/Other News:
* Our thanks to everyone to purchased a ticket for the Drive for Fitness! This year we raised over $19,000.00 towards the cost of purchasing a new pool de-humidifier. We still need to raise an additional $5,000.00 to pay for the installation. We are trying to pay for this project out of our operating funds so that we do not have to incur any debt (the Y became debt free in July!!!), so every dollar counts towards us meeting this goal. If you can help, or are interested in supporting other worthwhile facility projects, please contact Sid Gillispie.
* Join the YMCA's multisport club and enjoy the opportunity to train and network with fellow local triathletes (and hopefuls). The club meets every 2nd Monday of the month at the YMCA at 6 p.m. Visit the club's website which includes information on upcoming races and training events.
* We've joined GoodSearch - a search engine that uses Yahoo - now you can search the web and raise money for the Y.
* Recycle your used inket cartridges at the Y through Empties4Cash - you'll help the environment and raise money towards facility improvements. Use the drop box located in the lobby.
